Position: Senior Officer – Core Systems

Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and managing Databases, Core Banking System (CBS), and integrated systems dependent on the Core system.

Major Duties

Execute agile development processes and programs.

Implement change requests on the core banking system.

Manage End of Day and End of Month operations for the Core programs.

Provide on-call support and maintenance for production, development, and testing environments of various applications.

Check in with users and support personnel regarding active service requests and issue tickets, which may involve follow-up through email or phone-based support interactions.

Test and deploy software fixes and minor/major releases received from solution providers.

Lead projects from a technical perspective.

Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s/B.Sc. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

At least four years of relevant experience, with two years at Officer level I/II or equivalent.

Position 2: Deputy Banking Center Manager II

Job Description

The incumbent is tasked with assisting the Branch Manager in the operations of the Banking Center, ensuring effective functioning, strategic goals achievement, and overseeing day-to-day activities including deposit mobilization, credit processing, trade service requests, and other retail banking services. Ensure that the Banking Center activities align with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and relevant NBE directives.

Job Requirements

Education:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Experience:

At least five years of relevant experience, with two years as Senior Officer/CSO III or one year as Principal Officer in a Supervisory role.
