Position 1: Network Field Technician
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking devices such as switches, routers, and servers.
- Install fiber and copper cables, patch panels, splice enclosures, and other accessories in FTTX networks.
- Conduct testing of fiber lines in FTTX and metro networks.
- Upgrade and maintain network systems.
- Set up wireless networks, cabling, and connections.
- Diagnose and resolve basic networking issues.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on networking devices and backup power systems.
- Install and maintain power lines for data centers.
- Operate and maintain power backup systems, including battery backups and diesel generators.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a network technician or in a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in device installation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of networking principles.
Position 2: Facility Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and install company facilities, including power backup systems, power lines, generators, HVAC systems, and surveillance cameras.
- Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues.
- Maintain and repair data center facilities.
- Utilize power monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance of data center power systems.
- Regularly monitor generators and manage fuel levels.
- Operate portable diesel generators as needed.
- Oversee data center construction projects.
- Ensure all facility equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain high availability of network devices.
- Keep access logs for data centers.
- Manage facility rental processes.
- Prepare postmortem reports for major power outages.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or advanced diploma from an accredited institution.
- At least three years of experience in IT facility management or a related field.
- Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in device installation.
- Strong communication skills.
