Position: Programme Director
Qualifications:
- Expertise in strategic management, rural sociology, project management, or related fields in humanitarian and development sectors.
- Thematic specialization in one or more of the following areas: WASH, Agriculture, Food Security, and Nutrition.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
- Security training.
Do You Have Previous Experience?
- Demonstrated success in managing emergency and development programs/projects.
- Proven experience in security management.
- Strong track record in leadership and team management.
- Financial management proficiency.
- Experience working in humanitarian and insecure environments.
- Familiarity with good practice standards such as SPHERE, Core Humanitarian Standard, and Red Cross Codes of Conduct.
- Established relationships with donors and experience in grant management.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Experience in consortium development and management.
- Solid experience in organizational support services.
- Recent work experience in Ethiopia and the regional context.
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational management capabilities.
