Omo Bank Institution plays a crucial role in promoting and facilitating savings for low-income communities by offering savings and loan services. Many lives have been positively impacted through their collaboration with the institution. Established on August 14, 1996, Omo Bank is a leading and highly competent institution in Ethiopia. It was initiated by four shareholders with an initial capital of Birr 2,000,000 and began operations in four pilot areas in the South Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region. Its mission is to deliver efficient, effective, and sustainable financial services to low-income communities in the region. Currently, the institution operates across 17 districts with 165 branches and 30 sub-branch offices.

Position 1: Attorney

  • Qualifications and Experience: LLB Degree; 2 years of experience as an attorney or legal aid.
  • Number of Positions: 06
  • Locations: Karat, Dilla, Jemu, and Masha District offices

Position 2: Attorney II

  • Qualifications and Experience: LLB Degree; 4 years of experience as an attorney or legal aid.
  • Number of Positions: 06
  • Locations: Worabe and Hawassa Sidama District offices

Position 3: KYC Officer I

  • Qualifications and Experience: BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related fields; 4 years of experience in Customer Accounts/Service or similar roles.
  • Number of Positions: 08
  • Location: Addis Ababa

Position 4: KYC Officer II

  • Qualifications and Experience: BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related fields; 2 years of experience in Customer Accounts/Service or similar roles.
  • Number of Positions: 10
  • Location: Addis Ababa

Position 5: Manager – KYC Division

  • Qualifications and Experience: MA/BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related fields; 8 years of banking experience, including 3 years in a Head Customer Accounts/Service Section or equivalent role.
