Position 1: National Officer – Camp Coordination & Camp Management (CCCM) Subnational Cluster Coordinator

Qualifications

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or other relevant fields from a recognized academic institution, with five years of relevant professional experience; OR
  • A Master’s degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, International Relations, Humanitarian Management, Law, or other related fields from a recognized academic institution, with three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Recognized institutions are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience

  • Proven experience in collaborating with government authorities, national and international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs.
  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable populations.
  • Previous work experience in an international humanitarian organization or government/non-government agency in a multi-cultural environment is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cluster coordination, the IASC guidelines, and protection principles.
  • Experience in program management and meeting reporting requirements.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UN, IOM, and NGO mandates, particularly in IDP humanitarian responses, post-conflict recovery, and development efforts.
  • Ability to achieve set objectives in challenging environments.
  • Familiarity with CCCM global standards on communication, engagement, and accountability.
  • Effective in working with donors, local authorities, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and the broader community to support country office operations.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School diploma with five years of relevant professional experience; OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields from a recognized academic institution, with three years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national and international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs.
  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable populations.
  • Previous experience with international humanitarian organizations or government/non-government agencies in a multicultural setting is an advantage.
