Position 1: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator – Oromia

Role Overview: The M&E Coordinator will contribute to the implementation of the USAID Ethiopia DRM Activity by supporting the Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan (AMELP). The Coordinator will assist the Oromia DRM team and local partners in gathering, documenting, and sharing performance data and lessons learned to enable timely adjustments and improvements. This role also involves enhancing the MEL capacity of local partners, including the Regional and woreda level EDRMC units, Emergency Coordination Centers (ECCs), private sector, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring proper utilization of MEL, CLA, and Knowledge Management (KM) systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, or Local Development with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a senior role with NGOs focusing on emergency or development learning. Experience with international organizations preferred.
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and evaluation in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
  • Skilled in documenting results, good practices, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, database design, and research tools (SPSS, ODK, ONA, Kobo, CommCare, etc.).
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to write and synthesize MEL reports.
  • Strong command of Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English (both written and oral).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail; flexibility to multitask.
  • Ability to travel and work in difficult terrain across Ethiopia.

Position 2: Senior Resource Mobilization and Expansion Expert

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Business Development, Marketing, Economics, or Project Management.
  • 6/8 years of relevant experience.

Position 3: Admin and Finance Manager

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
  • 8/10 years of relevant experience, including 4/6 years in a managerial role. Knowledge of accounting software is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4/6 years of relevant experience for Master’s and Bachelor’s degree holders respectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
