Position 1: Project Officer (Female) – Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in public health, Clinical Nurse, or a related field.
Experience:

Three (3) or more years of experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring sanitation initiatives, with hands-on expertise in Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) programming.
Exceptional knowledge of MHM programming.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective collaboration with cross-cultural and diverse teams.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively in writing.
Highly organized, capable of setting priorities, and managing multiple demands.
Willingness to travel to required field areas.
Skills:

Ability to understand and navigate cultural and social contexts for effective programming.
Strong training skills, especially for working with and training adolescent girls.
Excellent knowledge of community mobilization with interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet browsing/searching).
Duration of Contract: Three years

Duty Station: Sheger City, with frequent travel to Sululta Sub City and other field sites.

Position 2: Project Officer

Qualifications and Education:

university degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resource Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of pertinent work experience at a project site.
Proficient in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web applications).
Essential Qualifications:

Mature individual with a strong commitment to professional discipline and ethical standards.
Advantageous experience within a humanitarian aid organization.
Consistent and equitable treatment of individuals.
Effective organizational skills.
Ability to perform well under pressure.
Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Position Reporting to: Country Director

Number of Openings: One

Contract Duration: Three years

Location: Addis Ababa, with frequent travel to project sites.
