Shabelle Bank, a fully licensed Commercial Bank in Ethiopia operating under the principles of Islamic banking, is seeking fresh graduates for the following vacancy in 2024:

Position: Bank Trainee

Qualifications:

BA Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Banking and Finance, Management, or related fields.
Experience: 0 years (fresh graduates)

Purpose of the Job:


To enhance customer satisfaction through attentive and efficient service, and to contribute to the Branch’s resource mobilization by cross-selling the Bank’s products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle cash transactions within designated limits.
Provide courteous and respectful service to customers at the counter.
Assist in customers’ account opening and engage in cross-selling bank products.
Scan and process signatures and photographs.
Receive cash for various transactions within the branch.
Post various business transactions.
Prepare cash and non-cash instruments.
Process clearance of negotiable instruments.
Collect and deliver cash to the ‘Till’ Administrator.
Receive and disburse cash to customers after proper identification, verification, and transaction posting.
Locations:
Dire-Dawa, Kezira Branch, Dire Dawa, Jijiga, Ahmed Gurey Branch, Somali

Salary: Shabelle Bank Scale
