Position 1: Coordinator – Immunization Project

Qualifications:

Hold a BSc degree in public health, nursing, or a related field.

Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience within an NGO setting, with at least 3 years demonstrating technical and managerial leadership specifically in child health and immunization.

Completion of trainings such as Immunization in Practice (IIP), Immunization Cold chain users, and Immunization MLM is mandatory.

Deep comprehension of Ethiopian health policies, strategies, including the health sector transformation plan and the health extension platform.

Proven track record of collaborating with Regional, Zonal, and Woreda Health Bureaus.

Exhibits strong cultural sensitivity and thrives in diverse international environments.

Results-driven mindset with the ability to innovate and challenge conventional approaches.

Experience in program management aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and financial control.

Proficient in budgeting and knowledgeable about donor regulations.

Proficiency in the local language is essential.

Position 2: Child Protection Officer

Qualifications:

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, nursing, social sciences, humanities, law, or related fields.

Possesses 3-5 years of relevant experience in child protection, humanitarian assistance, or related fields, preferably within an international NGO.

Proficient in both written and spoken English and Somali languages.

Skilled in case management, providing psychosocial support, and working with vulnerable groups, particularly children and women.

Willingness to work in challenging environments and availability for additional hours as required.

Encouragement for qualified female applicants to apply.

Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite and proficient in interpersonal communication. Demonstrated capability to collaborate efficiently within a team setting.

Previous experience in community-based child protection mechanisms, particularly in child resilience, community mobilization, and psychosocial support, is preferred.
