Position 1: Communications Manager – USAID DRM Activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Degree in Journalism, Public Administration, International Affairs, or a closely related field.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and implementing communication strategies and media outreach events.
  • Experience with USAID or other major donors preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills (writing samples required).
  • Ability to convey complex and technical information accurately and concisely.
  • Strong management, coordination, and organizational skills.

Position 2: Procurement and Operations Specialist – USAID DRM Activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Additional professional training in procurement and logistics management preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitive procurement processes, principles, and basics of contract administration.
  • Familiarity with USAID procurement procedures, policies, rules, and regulations strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and procurement software.
  • Understanding of governmental regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and task completion skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement RTI processes and procedures.

Position 3: Procurement Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Understanding and commitment to RTI’s mission and values.
  • Additional professional training in procurement and logistics management preferred.
  • Familiarity with USAID procurement policies and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Strong organizational, reporting, and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Independent and team working skills.
  • Experience in managing and leading technical and administrative teams.

Position 4: Accountant Assistant – USAID DRM Activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in an accounting function and environment preferred.
  • Understanding and commitment to RTI’s mission and values.
  • Discreet management of confidential matters.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures consistently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of accounting software.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Willingness to travel and work throughout Ethiopia in challenging conditions.

Position 5: Information Technology Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows PCs, servers, cloud-based applications, and networks.
  • Prior experience as an IT Assistant preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows 2016 and 2019 servers, and printers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages preferred.
  • Experience in the Lowland regions of Ethiopia preferred.

Position 6: Sub-awards Specialist – USAID DRM Activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of sub-award and grant procurement and management principles.
  • Familiarity with governmental regulations for compliance.
  • Experience with USAID-funded projects preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, workload prioritization, and task completion skills.
  • Ability to understand and implement RTI processes and procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal and project management skills.

Position 7: DRM Regional Manager – USAID DRM Activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6 years of field management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Skills in building, mobilizing, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervisory experience required (field or HQ).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands.
  • Familiarity with USAID-funded activities.
