Plan International has an open position for individuals passionate about advancing children’s rights and gender equality. Position 1: Global Finance Coordinator – GFFO – JF-CPiE

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in donor funds grants administration and project controlling
  • Proficient in GFFO Rules & Regulations
  • Experience managing financial aspects of multi-country or international Consortium projects
  • Fluency in English and French required, German proficiency is advantageous
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated expertise in grant and financial management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear and informative reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proactive communication and transparency
  • Capacity to build and maintain relationships and work effectively in a multicultural environment

Position 2: Global MERL Coordinator – GFFO-JF-CPiE

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, economics, or related fields
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning in programs and projects
  • Experience in complex, multi-country, and/or multi-agency programs or projects
  • Solid experience in establishing MEAL systems and processes for large projects
  • Extensive experience managing baseline, midterm, endline, and final evaluations
  • Experience in Child Protection program MEAL
  • Knowledge of ethical principles and safeguarding standards for involving children in MEAL activities
  • Practical experience in interventions in emergency contexts preferred
  • Familiarity with humanitarian principles and international child protection and safeguarding standards, SPHERE standards, and the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct
  • Fluency in French and English required; Spanish proficiency is an advantage

The positions can be based in one of the four African countries where the project is implemented or in a neighboring country where Plan International has an office. National candidates from Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and the Central African Republic are encouraged to apply.
