Position 1: FCDO Regional Lead – Hawassa
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, public administration, international development, gender studies, or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 4-6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of one year in a managerial role overseeing complex, large-scale projects at the regional level in Ethiopia or comparable contexts. Priority given to those with experience in education.
- Proven leadership skills to guide technical staff and consortium partners effectively.
- Experience in managing teams to deliver high-quality activities that meet program goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government bodies, civil society, and local communities.
- Knowledge of the education system and socio-political context of Ethiopia, particularly at the regional level.
- Previous experience working with Ethiopian government entities, especially in the education sector, is an asset.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical abilities, with experience using data for informed decision-making and program adaptation.
- Proficiency in both English and Amharic.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in WASH, education, electromechanical engineering, TVET development, rural development, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of INGO experience, particularly in TVET and WASH projects, stakeholder management, youth engagement, MSME engagement, strategic planning, and government/partner communication.
- Ability to work effectively under stress and maintain strong communication skills.
