Position 1: Senior Accountant – Treasury & Cash Management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA / ACCA / CIMA / ACA) and member of a recognized professional body, with a finance or related Honors degree from an accredited university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting and treasury within a reputable company.
  • 1-2 years of senior-level experience in treasury operations, including managing multiple bank accounts and retail collection accounts, as well as handling bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant treasury controls, policies, and procedures, with zero incidents of non-compliance.
  • Guarantee that all funds received at retail locations are banked promptly, fully reconciled, and accounted for as per company policy.
  • Achieve 100% accuracy for interest payable and receivable on the company’s cash balances.
  • Complete auto bank reconciliations daily for all company accounts, reviewed and signed off by management no later than the 5th working day of the month.
  • Ensure all payments are properly supported by documentation and authorized personnel.
  • Oversee the annual payment system certification process to confirm payment controls are in place.
  • Comply with board-approved payment mandates and delegation of authority for all transactions, including interbank and intercompany transfers.
  • Manage daily cash concentration in accordance with treasury policy requirements.
  • Implement centralized processes for managing bank fees, loans, and investments.
  • Optimize banking platforms, payment systems, and bank accounts to improve efficiency and reduce platform usage.
  • Enforce loan covenants in line with regulatory and lender requirements.
  • Prepare and issue a 12-month rolling forecast report to management on a monthly basis.
  • Submit weekly cash flow reports to the CFO and Financial Controller by Monday, comparing actual cash flow against forecasts.
  • Provide monthly reports by the 2nd working day of each month, reviewing actual cash flow against forecasts for the current month, next quarter, and 12 months ahead.
  • Ensure at least 90% of cash forecast data is sourced directly from Oracle in an integrated workflow.
  • Monitor bank charges and ensure the company receives the most competitive rates across all transactions.
  • Verify that manual instructions to partner banks are approved according to the company’s policies and delegation of authority.

Position 2: Manager – Cash Flow Planning & Management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA / ACCA / CIMA / ACA) and member of a recognized professional body, with a finance or related Honors degree from an accredited university.
  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting, finance, and treasury within a well-established organization.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in preparing cash forecasts and analyzing cash flows.
  • Proven experience in building and reviewing financial models to assess various financial strategies.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cash forecasts and monitor actual receipts and expenses against projections, delivering timely reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure optimal daily utilization of available funds while minimizing costs.
  • Advise on and develop effective funding strategies for the company.
