Position 1: Regional Acquisition Manager – Asossa

Qualifications:

  • Desired:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
    • 2-4 years of experience in FMCG
    • Proficient in utilizing relevant sales tools
    • Experience in customer acquisition or sales-related roles
    • Strong ability to manage and track customer interactions through sales tools
  • Optional:
    • Professional certification in Sales or Marketing is a plus

Financial Responsibility:

  • Accountable for achieving sales goals and contributing to revenue growth
  • Potentially responsible for managing acquisition budgets
  • May be involved in developing pricing strategies to maximize profitability

Role Purpose: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be crucial in expanding our customer base and increasing market share. The primary responsibility will be to acquire new individual and SME customers, driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet acquisition targets
  • Identify and approach potential customers through various channels such as cold-calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with prospects and customers for successful sales outcomes
  • Keep abreast of market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and market insights to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and boost sales opportunities
  • Mentor and support sales representatives to enhance team performance
  • Monitor the success of sales initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes
  • Stay informed about new products and services, sharing relevant information with the sales team
  • Analyze customer data to refine acquisition strategies and enhance results
  • Ensure adherence to TDR Journey Plan, cluster development, and site utilization

Position 2: Site Acquisition Expert

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Advanced degrees or PMP certification is advantageous
  • Experience in national-level positions within a project involving FTK vendor environments
  • Proven track record working with operators, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • In-depth knowledge of zoning laws, land use policies, and permitting processes
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential project locations
  • Work with government agencies, property owners, and stakeholders to secure access and permits
  • Maintain accurate records of site acquisition processes and permits obtained
  • Negotiate lease agreements and other contracts with landowners and relevant parties
  • Manage ERP processes for site lease and construction payments
  • Coordinate with vendors and teams to meet project goals related to schedule, budget, and quality
  • Ensure completion of SAQ (Site Acquisition) criteria, collaborating with other departments like design, quality, and telecom implementation
  • Oversee vendor and subcontractor resources, ensuring effective follow-up and auditing
  • Ensure all SAQ and permitting processes comply with customer requirements, local regulations, and government guidelines
  • Assist the project manager in forecasting rollout timelines based on lead times
  • Troubleshoot and resolve vendor issues related to acquisition and site construction activities
