Wachemo University (WCU), established in 2009, is a public higher education institution located 230 km southwest of Addis Ababa in Hosanna town, occupying over 200 hectares of land. As one of Ethiopia’s prominent public universities, WCU operates across two campuses, one in Hosanna city and the other in Durame. Currently, the university hosts over 8,000 students across various academic programs, supported by more than 200 instructors and approximately 400 administrative staff.
