Position 1: Senior Nutrition and SBCC Advisor

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in nutrition, public health, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in nutrition or food security program development.
  • In-depth knowledge of development nutrition and Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) strategies.
  • Experience in nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific activities, including the first 1,000 days initiative.
  • Experience in establishing and managing support groups for mothers, male champions, and school health clubs.
  • Extensive knowledge of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) practices in development settings.
  • Strong research skills and proficiency in writing.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Position 2: Grants and Compliance Coordinator

Requirements:

  • At least five years of progressive experience in non-profit organizations, particularly within international NGOs.
  • Essential experience managing USAID, Shell, and EU grants for a minimum of two consecutive years.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with computerized general ledger software and advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational abilities and prior grant management experience are advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.

Success Factors:

  • Confident, proactive, and independent thinker with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively interact with both international and national personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, Forestry, Rural Development, Development Studies, Cooperative Management, Agriculture Economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in cooperative management, smallholder support, soil and water conservation, landscape management, financial inclusion, and livelihood development.
  • Three years of experience in cooperatives development, agriculture, NRM, and livelihood development, with prior experience in pastoralist communities in Ethiopia, especially in the Somali region.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Capacity to work efficiently in areas with variable security conditions.
