Meqrez Health Services, a shareholder-owned firm established in October 2020, aims to bolster Ethiopia’s healthcare sector. Our primary objective is to establish entities within the healthcare domain to alleviate the nation’s healthcare burden. These entities include general hospitals, pharmacy chains, imaging and diagnostic centers, as well as the import and export of pharmaceuticals and medical consumables. In its initial phase, Meqrez pledges to bring smiles to the faces of ailing customers by providing the highest level of customer care, offering affordable and high-quality treatment in Ethiopia, by Ethiopians.

Meqrez is currently seeking to recruit highly skilled candidates who are visionary and can contribute positively to our organization for the following job positions:

Position 1: Nursing Service Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the proper delivery of patient care by nursing staff.

Provide ongoing guidance and consultation to nursing staff on proper procedures, problem-solving, and patient safety.

Facilitate a team approach by recognizing each nurse as a vital part of the care team.

Assist in budgetary recommendations for medical supplies.

Ensure excellent patient care by identifying nursing staff strengths and weaknesses through periodic audits.

Promote quality patient care by overseeing the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.

Coordinate and assist in the delivery of healthcare plans with all members of the health team.

Collaborate with human resources and the nursing service department on staffing issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing/PH/HO.

3-5 years of demonstrated work experience in the role.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in problem-solving and active listening.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Position 2: BSc Nurse with Active License

Requirements:

BSc degree in Nursing with 2 years of work experience.

Competent in using medical devices and tools.

Position 3: Procurement Officer

Responsibilities:

Develop efficient sourcing methods and gather price quotations.

Coordinate issuance of purchase orders.

Perform purchasing duties when necessary.

Ensure timely delivery of goods or services.

Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues.

Requirements:

BSc degree with 2 years of work experience.

Competent in using medical devices and tools.

Position 4: Cashier

Responsibilities:

Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.

Process refunds and exchanges, resolve complaints.

Maintain and safeguard cash and checks.

Prepare daily cash balances.

Issue official receipts for all collections.

Deposit daily cash collections intact into the bank.

Record daily cash collections and balance daily.

Requirements:

Basic skills in using cash register machines.

Basic accounting skills.

Basic knowledge in customer management.

Good communication skills.

Position 5: Receptionist

Responsibilities:

Greet hospital clients, determine the purpose of visit, and direct them accordingly.

Schedule appointments and update calendars.

Transmit and receive information or documents.

Record visitor feedback or complaints.

Provide information about departments or offices within the hospital.

Requirements:

BA degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing with at least two years of work experience.

High emotional and mental energy.

Excellent observational and customer care skills.

Willingness to take on multiple duties.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Position 6: Call Center Representative

Responsibilities:

Provide information about hospital services, take orders, or address complaints over the phone.

Keep records of customer interactions.

Schedule appointments and update calendars.

Reach out to customers to address inquiries or inform them about the outcome of claim investigations. Assess customer requirements, address grievances, and offer resolutions.

Recommend improvements for efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing.

Experience in a call center or customer support role.

Strong active-listening and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in problem-solving.

Ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills:

Expertise in conflict resolution.

Previous experience in a hospital setup.

Previous experience in customer service or sales roles.

Computer skills.
