Founded in March 2018, the company was born from a conversation between two friends on a balcony in Addis Ababa. Position: IT Intern
As an IT Intern at Komari Beverage, you will be the frontline for our employees’ IT support needs. Your role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that our users can work efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our company’s technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for customers requiring technical support.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Communicate with customers and collaborate with the team to resolve technical problems.
- Manage and maintain PCs, printers, servers, CCTV, server room, and other IT equipment.
- Provide prompt resolutions and deliver excellent customer service.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level within the IT department.
- Identify and suggest procedural improvements to enhance support efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses.
- Provide feedback on processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of technical documentation, service catalogs, and customer interactions for future reference and analysis.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT manager.
Education:
- BSc in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
Experience:
- 0 – 1 year of experience.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, computer repair, and network management.
- Hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
- Resourceful and quick-thinking to troubleshoot new and critical technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: Addis Ababa and Cheki/Debre Birhan
