Website British Council
The British Council fosters connections, understanding, and trust between people in the UK and other countries through arts and culture, education, and the English language. We operate in two ways: directly with individuals to transform their lives, and with governments and partners to create lasting impact, benefiting millions globally. We empower young people with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to reach their potential and engage in inclusive communities. We support them in learning English, obtaining a high-quality education, and gaining internationally recognized qualifications. Our work in arts and culture stimulates creative expression, exchange, and enterprise, linking the best of the UK with the world and vice versa.
