Position: Cashier Accountant
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Diploma in Accounting.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably as a Cashier.
- Skills:
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Accounting proficiency.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Issue official receipts for all collections.
- Deposit daily cash collections into the bank on the next working day.
- Record daily cash collections and payments, ensuring they balance with cash on hand.
- Prepare checks for all authorized payments.
- Process bank transfers and check exchanges.
- Prepare daily bank account and cash balance reports.
- Collect payments, whether in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Manage transactions with customers using the cash register.
- Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and offer relevant information.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
