We are a leading conformity assessment body in Ethiopia, specializing in the testing, certification, inspection, and training of agri-food products.
Position: Junior Customer Service Officer & Cashier
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Sciences, or a related field
Experience: No prior experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process samples for testing/analysis, ensuring proper registration, coding, and forwarding to the appropriate department. Verify that samples align with the laboratory’s scope.
- Monitor customer orders, addressing delays and complaints effectively.
- Issue test results, certification, inspection reports, and other documentation to customers accurately.
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, ensuring concerns and complaints are resolved in alignment with company interests.
- Promote and clearly explain the company’s services to current and potential customers.
- Support marketing and sales teams with technical and professional advice.
- Foster and maintain transparent and professional relationships with customers based on formal agreements.
- Act as a liaison between customers and relevant company units.
- Engage actively in all training and coaching programs.
- Operate and manage the cash register.
- Prepare and issue proforma invoices to customers.
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization.
- Collect cash or checks and provide official company receipts.
- Prepare and submit periodic activity reports.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
