Vacancy Announcement – September 8, 2024

Oromia Insurance S.C. is seeking applications for the following positions:

Position 1:Manager, Bishoftu Branch – Grade III

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution. A diploma or advanced diploma in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is preferred.
  • Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience, including 1 year as a Lower Level Division Manager/Branch Grade II Manager, 3 years as a Principal/Branch Grade I Manager, or 4 years as a Senior Officer or equivalent role.
  • Work Location: Bishoftu Branch

Position 2: Manager, Bahir Dar Branch – Grade I

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution. A diploma or advanced diploma in insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is preferred.
  • Experience: 6 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years as a Senior Officer or equivalent position.
  • Work Location: Bahir Dar Branch

Position 3: Strategy and Change Management Officer (Re-advertised)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Change Management, Planning, Marketing, or Business Development.
  • Work Location: Bahir Dar Branch

Position 4:Marketing Officer

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Location: Head Office

Position 5:Business Development Officer

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Location: Head Office

Position 6: Secretary/Cashier

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Level IV in Administrative Management, Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Location: Bahir Dar Branch

Additional Information:

  • All positions are for an indefinite period.
  • Salary is in accordance with the Company Scale.
