Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC is seeking capable and skilled individuals for the following positions:
Position 1: Service Solution Manager
Education and Major: Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing demand to identify service sales opportunities for targeted customers.
- Designing service solutions tailored to customer requirements and pain points.
- Quoting service projects based on customer budget and competition pricing.
- Negotiating service prices, contract terms, and timelines.
- Operating service projects and executing routine tasks.
- Cultivating and maintaining key customer relationships to ensure satisfaction.
- Leading bidding processes.
Required Professional Skills:
- Technical expertise in areas such as Datacenter, storage, server, Virtualization, Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.
- International experience (e.g., AWS, Google) is highly desirable.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with the local ecosystem and ecosystem development.
Required Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to influence others.
- Capacity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- Target-driven with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
Position 2: Active & Telecom Manager / FM Manager
Education and Major: Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Engineering, with a focus on electronic or communication science.
Responsibilities:
- Managing active elements of the network and overseeing monthly acceptance processes.
- Evaluating subcontractor maintenance teams on a monthly basis.
- Generating dashboard reports on planning activities and KPIs.
- Providing project leadership with over 5 years of telecom networking experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Professional Knowledge:
- Planning training programs for field maintenance engineers.
- Generating reports on network performance and incident resolution.
- Evaluating the qualification and performance of field maintenance teams.
- Managing and supervising subcontractor maintenance teams.
