Position 1: Hostess

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate in Hotel Operations, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • COC Certification is mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Team-oriented with strong guest interaction skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Description:

  • Acquaint yourself with the menu items and beverages offered in the outlet.
  • Utilize the point-of-sales and table assignment systems as directed.
  • Flexibly accommodate special guest requests regarding table assignments or other needs.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly entrance area and host/hostess station.
  • Manage the restaurant’s guest history system.
  • Collaborate effectively with other employees and departments.
  • Handle operating equipment and supplies with care to prevent damage and minimize waste.
  • Manage reservations and table assignments in line with Outlet Manager instructions.
  • Follow telephone etiquette guidelines, including using guest names and standard greetings.
  • Bid farewell to guests as they leave the restaurant, as instructed by the Outlet Manager.
  • Address and resolve guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.

Position 2: Income Auditor

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting & Finance from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Income Auditor in a hotel, large organization, or accounting firm is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and report writing.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to rotate through assigned departments.
  • Be knowledgeable about all hotel services and facilities.
  • Distribute all incoming mail, memos, and internal correspondence accurately and promptly.
  • Establish and maintain an efficient filing system for both physical and electronic documents for quick retrieval.
  • Proficiently use all finance-related computer software.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls or inquiries courteously and assertively.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
  • File all night audit work after verification on a daily basis.
  • Post journal entries to the income journal and balance and close out the income journal at the end of each month.
  • Prepare journal vouchers for month-end processing.
  • Audit and summarize the General Cashier’s reports and ensure daily journal postings by the chief accountant.
  • Complete the income journal checklist daily and weekly, submitting it to the chief accountant for verification and Financial Controller approval.
  • Maintain accurate operating statistics.
  • Submit all rebates, house charges, and paid-outs for chief accountant verification and Financial Controller approval.
  • Record and report discrepancies to the Financial Controller for follow-up.
  • Reconcile daily revenue and Z reports, and coordinate VAT reconciliations with Accounts Payable.
