Position 1: Reporter Intern (English and Amharic Products)

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a journalism, communications, or related program.
  • Proficient writing skills to convey intricate information clearly and engagingly.
  • Strong research aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a fervor for storytelling.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with fundamental journalistic ethics.
  • Competence in utilizing digital tools for research, writing, and communication.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English and Amharic.
  • Knowledge of Afaan Oromoo is advantageous but not obligatory.

Position 2: Reporter Intern – Afaan Oromoo (English and Afaan Oromoo Products)

Requirements:

  • Completion of a journalism, communications, or related degree.
  • Proficient writing skills for clear and engaging communication of complex topics.
  • Excellent research skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Understanding of basic journalistic ethics.
  • Proficiency in digital tools for research, writing, and communication.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Afaan Oromoo.
  • Familiarity with Amharic is advantageous but not mandatory.
