Position 1: ERD Project Manager

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Agriculture, Economics, Disaster Risk Management, or a related field.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 4 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
  • At least 1 year of managerial experience.
  • Experience with NGOs is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Skills in proposal and report writing.
  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities and NGOs.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage field teams, build team cohesion, and maintain morale.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in managing sustainable livelihoods and resilience programs.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in planning, monitoring, budget management, and logistics, especially in unstable environments.
  • Experience integrating gender, protection, and diversity in emergency response programs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic global team.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to handle and adapt to change positively and proactively.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is required; knowledge of Somali is a plus.

Position 2: Clinical Nurse Officer

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, or Public Health (Senior Clinical/Public Nurse or higher).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience for post-graduates, 2 years for degree holders, and 5 years for diploma holders, including 2 years of direct experience in emergency health and nutrition fields.
  • Knowledge and training in clinical case management, IYCF, and community mobilization/BCC.
  • Experience in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers, and creating training materials.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) and local languages.
  • Strong computer (Microsoft Office) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and the local language is required.

Certificates or Licenses: Professional licenses and training certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
