Position 1: Electronics Technician I
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electronics or a related field from a recognized TVET college
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and applications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial electronic and electrical systems
- Effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances
- Operating simple machine tools and electronic equipment
- Conducting calibration checks and skilled soldering
- Setting up and operating electronic instrumentation systems
- Identifying faults, troubleshooting system failures, and servicing faulty products
- Reviewing blueprints and testing electrical systems
- Performing maintenance repairs on fixtures and responding to fault requests
- Providing suggestions for equipment replacement and writing maintenance reports
- Adhering to safety and performance standards
- Conducting performance assessments of electronic appliances
Position 2: Production Manager
Requirements:
- Diploma from a recognized TVET college with 6 years of relevant experience in technical supervision and managerial roles, or
- BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields from a recognized university or tertiary institution with 4 years of relevant experience in technical supervision and managerial roles
- Women applicants are encouraged and given preference
Summary of Roles:
- Accountability for achieving daily, monthly, and annual production objectives and targets
- Ensuring efficient production of goods and services in terms of quality, quantity, cost, and timeliness
- Managing human and materials resources to meet demand and ensure workforce training for quality production
