Position: ICT Officer
Qualifications & Experience:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in IT support or system administration, ideally within an educational setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer networks, Cisco devices, Google products, and various operating systems (iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux), along with common software applications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site needs assessments and manage the installation and maintenance of HMA’s telecommunications and IT equipment.
- Regularly inspect and ensure the proper functioning of equipment; arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
- Oversee and maintain the LAN, network servers, printers, LAN points, access points, and switches to avoid disruptions.
- Provide technical training for campus equipment users and ensure they can operate the equipment effectively.
- Assist staff, faculty, or students in setting up systems or resolving technical issues through direct support.
- Generate support documentation and reports; ensure the security of the data center meets standards.
- Manage new user email accounts and address password-related issues.
- Support the procurement process for IT equipment as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies when installing users’ computers and iPads.
- Perform routine maintenance on computers and peripherals; coordinate with faculty to maintain student devices.
- Administer Windows servers on a basic level.
- Persistently work on tasks until completion or escalate to third parties when necessary.
- Develop strong working relationships with students and teachers.
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
- Assist in establishing an efficient help desk system on campus.
- Lead the Tech Team, fostering a community where technology-related skills are developed through problem-solving and learning platforms (e.g., hardware, software, programming, robotics).
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
