Horra Corporate Group is seeking qualified individuals for several positions. Currently, the company is led by experienced professionals and employs 500 permanent staff and 800 temporary workers across various business units. Position 1: Production and Technical Manager

Job Purpose:
The Production and Technical Manager will oversee the production and technical operations in the Polypropylene manufacturing unit, focusing on optimizing efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous innovation in the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets and schedules are met.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor KPIs for production, quality, and costs, and ensure performance goals are achieved.
  • Optimize plant operations to improve yield and reduce waste.
  • Lead the technical aspects of production, ensuring adherence to standards and providing troubleshooting support.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in Polypropylene technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Polypropylene production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English.

Position 2: Cost Accountant

Job Purpose:
Support the company’s sustainable growth by providing timely, accurate, and relevant cost analysis to inform operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports on Cost of Goods Sold (CoGS), Purchase Price Variance (PPV), and manufacturing variances.
  • Analyze material and labor costs to assess efficiency.
  • Conduct cost analyses related to product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods.
  • Prepare reports comparing standard and actual costs, recommending cost-saving measures.
  • Contribute to budget preparation and expenditure control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing or textile sectors.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English.

Position 3: Digital Marketing Officer

Job Purpose:
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to effectively engage the company’s target audience through social media and digital communication channels.

  • Monitor social media channels for customer service opportunities.
