Position 1. Senior Developer
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Islamic Financial Banking (IFB) is an added advantage.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience in software development.
- Strong ability to coach and mentor colleagues on technical topics.
- Track record of delivering high-quality software with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with web service APIs and globally distributed applications.
- Proficiency in Java SE and Java EE, with expertise in frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Experience with backend development (RESTful APIs, microservices, containerization such as Docker).
- Database management skills, particularly with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with tools like Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD platforms.
- Understanding of performance optimization, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and authentication/authorization protocols.
- Experience in unit testing (e.g., JUnit) and debugging.

Position 2. MIS Manager
Qualifications:
- BSc/BA degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Islamic Financial Banking (IFB) is an added advantage.
Duty Station: Addis Ababa [Head Office]
