By 1974, the company had expanded its operations to include feed mills, pasta factories, and a flour milling complex, making it the largest establishment of its kind in Eastern Africa at that time.
The year 1991 marked a significant shift towards a more liberalized economic environment, prompting Hagbes to resume its expansion efforts. Today, the company boasts a workforce of approximately 640 individuals spread across twelve locations throughout Ethiopia. Over the years, Hagbes has diversified into more than 25 distinct business segments, each a leader in its respective field.
