HABESHA Cement Share Co., an Ethiopian-based cement manufacturing company established in September 2008, specializes in producing OPC 42.5R and PPC 32.5N cements.
Position 1: Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
Conducting Monthly Reconciliation.
Monitoring and managing balances for all accounts.
Assisting the financial manager in overseeing cash flow management, including budgeting, collections, and credit notes.
Visiting banks to execute payments, verify balances, and obtain bank statements.
Managing petty cash replenishment, scrutinizing expenditures, overseeing bank transfers, and managing security bonds.
Coordinating monthly VAT, WHT, pension, and income tax declarations through a unified online system.
Supporting the finance manager in updating monthly and annual reports on expenses (fixed, variable, transportation, energy, and services), sales, and inventory.
Handling tax clearance and VAT refund processes with the revenue ministry.
Providing guidance and on-the-job training to junior accountants.
Requirements:
BA/MBA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience of 6+ years in the industry.
Position 2: Senior Financial Risk Specialist
Responsibilities and requirements are identical to those of the Senior Financial Analyst.
