Growth Capital Analytics, located in Ethiopia, is a strategic advisory and credit analytics firm actively seeking experienced individuals in strategic consulting and financial analysis to join our dynamic team as Senior Analysts. Guided by the senior accountant, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and processes of the organization.
Position: Junior Accountant
Responsibilities:
Assist in accurately calculating TOT, VAT, Withholding, payroll preparation, and other relevant financial records.
Prepare financial statements and report to the management team.
Ensure adherence to Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting mandates. Compile essential documentation, reconcile financial records, and handle inquiries related to audits. Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications and experience:
No prior experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of the Ethiopian tax system.
Fluent in Amharic and English.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of Peachtree is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
