Goh Betoch Bank S.C. is seeking qualified candidates for the following job openings. As Ethiopia’s pioneering private mortgage bank, Goh Betoch Bank SC will officially commence operations on October 25, marking its entry as the 21st bank at its headquarters. Established by a group of 11 visionary founders—including experienced bankers, investors, and academics—this new institution is dedicated to addressing the nation’s housing challenges.
The creation of this innovative mortgage bank stems from the country’s significant housing deficit, escalating construction costs, persistent inflation, and inadequate housing financing solutions.
Formed with contributions from 6,657 shareholders, the bank boasts a total subscription of Birr 1,056 million and paid-up capital of Birr 521.5 million. After a rigorous three-year establishment process, it received its license from the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) on July 28, 2021.
Position 1: Junior Credit Officer
- Educational Requirements: BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: 2 years in Credit or Audit Operations. Experience with registered external audit firms is a plus.

Position 2: Manager – Credit Management
- Educational Requirements: BA Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: 6 years in Retail Banking, including 2 years in a senior officer role within Credit Management.
