Position 1: Coordinator for Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Agriculture, Rural Development, Sociology, or a relevant field of study; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Four years of related experience in a relevant position, preferably in an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) setting.

Position 2: Coordinator for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) – JEOP

Requirements:

Education: BA/BSc in Agriculture, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related field; a post-graduate degree is preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Emergency Relief programs, specifically in NGO settings, with at least 3 years in coordination and M&E roles for major donors.
Skills: Strong computer skills, proficiency in database and MS Office suite, analytical, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of digital data collection tools such as ODK and KoBo toolbox is an added value.

Responsibilities:

Capacity Building and Training:

Provide M&E technical assistance to the JEOP & WFP program in data collection and analysis.
Organize training materials on M&E tools in collaboration with the JEOP MEAL manager.
Support the conduct of data quality assurance evaluations across all JEOP operations.
Train enumerators for paper-based and digital data collection.
Provide induction to newly hired JEOP project staff on the MEAL system.
Monitoring, PDM, and DQA:

Conduct joint field monitoring in collaboration with government stakeholders.
Undertake quarterly post-distribution monitoring surveys.
Conduct field monitoring to ensure planned activities are on track.
Host monitoring teams from the head office and consortium lead.
Support the conduct of data quality assurance evaluations across all JEOP operations.
Evaluation and Assessments:

Prepare terms of reference for periodic assessments.
Ensure grant-funded programs comply with donor M&E requirements.
Undertake feasibility studies.
Facilitate and supervise JEOP annual result surveys.
Host external evaluators/consulting firms for JEOP 2.0 evaluations.
Reporting and Documentation:

Collect periodic JEOP reports from operational areas.
Analyze PDM survey data and submit reports to the head office.
Document periodic reports, PDM survey results, and field monitoring reports.
Follow reporting guidelines and submit reports to the head office in a timely manner.
Compliance and Program Delivery:

Provide monthly updates on program delivery measurement tools.
Lead the Annual Operation Plan (AOP) preparation for JEOP/WFP Projects.
Ensure proper implementation of the MEAL system as per donor requirements.
Follow monitoring and evaluation systems outlined in USAID/WFP guidelines.
Other Activities:

Engage in field visits for emergency response projects as necessary.
Collaborate with JEOP/WFP regional and zonal key stakeholders on MEAL-related activities.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
