Position 1: HR OFFICER

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized university, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Age between 18 and 35 years old.

Position 2: Manager ICT

NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 1

QUALIFICATIONS:

SUMMARY:

The Manager ICT participates in defining future directions and strategies for ICT, ensuring all IT services are delivered and supported according to established service level targets. They monitor and maintain the availability and performance of applications, identify cost-saving initiatives, and ensure the Service Desk functions as a Single Point Of Contact for all ICT support and maintenance issues. Additionally, they stay updated on ICT developments, conduct analytics for IT issues, and maintain the Business Service Catalogue.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

People

Creating training programs and workshops tailored to the needs of employees.

• Providing guidance for ICT staff members.

• Identifying opportunities for staff training and skill development.

• Developing and revising departmental plans and ensuring implementation.

• Conducting regular system audits.

Responsible Business

• Sharing operation system reviews with senior management.

• Ensuring proper installation and functioning of computers and system security measures.

Financial

• Managing and reporting on ICT budget allocation.

DELEGATED RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Financial Controller delegates responsibilities to the Team Leader IT Operation Support, who is responsible for the effective operation of ICT services and support throughout the hotel. They serve as technical experts, plan and implement IT systems, and provide technical assistance to staff.

Position 3: CREDIT MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personnel

Oversee the activities of credit team members to ensure efficient and effective performance of individual tasks and responsibilities. Schedule monthly credit meetings. Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and/or Clerk to pursue overdue accounts. Guest Relations

Conduct thorough credit investigations to assess a customer’s creditworthiness, character, and ability to pay, enabling informed decisions on extending credit. Maintain positive relationships with hotel clientele, including wholesalers, corporate clients, guests, travel agents, tour operators, event planners, airlines, and government entities. Handle customer inquiries promptly and effectively, employing preventive measures when possible. Business Accountability

Conduct comprehensive credit investigations to assess customer creditworthiness, character, and ability to pay, justifying credit extensions. Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and diligently follow up on overdue accounts. Review supporting documents to verify receivables accuracy. Recommend write-offs for uncollectible accounts only after exhaustive pursuit of outstanding payments. Promptly report any adverse information impacting a customer’s credit status for appropriate action. Ensure all credit application forms are accepted and updated annually. Maintain an up-to-date Credit Manual, enforcing adherence to its guidelines. Ensure debtor days outstanding fall within acceptable ranges outlined in policies and procedures. Complete month-end processes accurately and promptly. Review Daily High Balance Report for in-house guests and take necessary follow-up actions. Ensure timely and accurate entry of all credit transactions. Financial Management

Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts to mitigate potential losses for the hotel. Process and oversee all sundry payments made via credit card. DELEGATED RESPONSIBILITIES

Exercise control over duties delegated to the following position: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR

Administer and oversee collection for delinquent accounts. Develop and recommend policies to ensure daily financial transactions are performed accurately. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience in a hotel setting. OR

Master’s degree (MA) in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in a hotel setting. Essential Competencies:

Position 4: FINANCE MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personnel

Assess employees undergoing training when assigned as an assessor. Implement and follow up on training and mentoring activities as per policy. Guest Relations

Conduct daily hotel inspections in designated areas to ensure completion of tasks and adherence to procedures. Ensure proper filing of payment vouchers, cash, and hotel documents per protocol. Ensure timely receipt of deposit slips, bank advice, bank statements, and clarification on bank products. Ensure settlements related to goods, fuel, and purchases are made promptly. Responsible Business

Maintain and control the General Ledger, subsidiary ledger, and accounts analysis for Skylight Hotel activities. Ensure compliance of all systems with enterprise policies and government regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for Skylight Hotel financial reports. Audit all payment requests per Ethiopian Hotel policies and procedures. Prepare department budgets and oversee expenses, including headcount and material resources. Secure Finance documents in Skylight Hotels’ Archives. Handle billing and collections functions, coordinating with Finance and Marketing teams. Monitor receivables aging, credit sales, and collection processes. Review and recommend billing and collection methodologies. Prepare VAT claims and liaise with Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience in a hotel setting. OR

Master’s degree (MA) in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in a hotel setting. Essential Competencies:
