The Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECC-SDCO) is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of the Ethiopian population through comprehensive social and development programs. Position 1: Accounting Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within humanitarian organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, budgeting, and reporting for donor-funded projects.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Position 2: Driver

Qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Public 1 driving license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a humanitarian or NGO environment.

Position 3: Project Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience, preferably within humanitarian or development contexts; experience with GFFO-funded projects is a plus.

Position 4: Secretary Cashier

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a humanitarian or development context.

Position 5: MEAL Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) within humanitarian or development projects, with strong knowledge of M&E frameworks and methodologies.

Position 6: WASH Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in WASH projects, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.

Position 7: Development Agent

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Agriculture, WASH, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in community development, humanitarian projects, or related fields, preferably in a similar role.

Position 8: Field Office Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a humanitarian or development context, with knowledge of donor-funded projects.

Position 9: Procurement Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a humanitarian or non-profit context.
  • Strong understanding of procurement regulations and best practices for donor-funded projects.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
