Job Opportunity 1: Regional Team Leader (RTL), Afar

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields like Medicine, Public Health, or Project Management.

Eight years of relevant work experience for BA/BSc holders, six years for Master’s degree holders.

Preferably, higher education or specialization certifications in project management or leadership.

Proven track record in managing and coordinating initiatives.

Demonstrated leadership in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating project activities, including work plan development, progress monitoring, and reporting.

Strong leadership skills to foster cohesive team dynamics.

Experience in supervising and guiding Health program officers and administrative staff preferred.

Familiarity with managing grant-funded projects and ensuring donor compliance.

Experience in financial monitoring and reporting on grant-specific outcomes desirable.

Proficiency in establishing and nurturing partnerships with various stakeholders, including government agencies, implementing partners, and community organizations.

Strong skills in operational planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, including work plan development, progress monitoring, and reporting.

Experience in team management and coordination.

Familiarity with working in partnership with consortium partners, local implementing partners, and stakeholders.

Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
