Position: Maintenance Attendant (Handyman)

Education: Candidates must provide proof of their educational qualifications:

  • A technical and/or professional diploma in Engineering, Construction, Electromechanics, or a related field.

Language:

  • Fluency in Amharic (oral and written).
  • Intermediate proficiency in spoken English to understand instructions and communicate information as needed.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of recent experience* in maintaining assets and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, pump, and refrigeration repairs.
  • Experience in a maintenance role within an embassy, international organization, NGO, hotel, hospital, school, airport, or other corporate/commercial setting.

*Recent experience is defined as within the last five (5) years.

Salary: $8,671 USD
Location: Embassy of Canada to Ethiopia
