The foundation is currently seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our team for the following positions:


Position 1: Office Secretary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Fluent in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities in all three languages
  • Proven experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on providing solutions
  • A commitment to excellent customer service with a professional and positive demeanor
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Customer service-oriented, friendly, and helpful
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities

Position 2: Fundraising and Research Expert

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or resource development
  • Proven ability to secure significant gifts and grants from a variety of funding sources
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling fundraising materials
  • Proficient in using donor database software, research tools, and relevant technologies
  • Passionate about the foundation’s mission with a commitment to sustainability and growth

Position 3: Web and Social Media Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in website management, social media marketing, and digital content creation
  • Proficient in using content management systems, social media platforms, and digital analytics tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging digital content
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • A strong commitment to the foundation’s mission and leveraging digital platforms for impact
