Position 2: Economic Recovery Specialist – Agribusiness and Value Chain Development
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Agribusiness Development, Agricultural Economics, Cooperative Management, Finance and Development Economics, or Rural Development, with relevant training in value chain, market-based approaches, and business management
- Familiarity with the Markets4Poor approach and market development facilitation
- At least 3 years of experience supporting private sector-led business enterprises in pastoral/agro-pastoral settings, including business development support and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in project management, budget administration, and donor reporting
- Fluency in English and computer literacy
Education:
- BSc or MSc in Agribusiness Development, Agriculture, Rural Development, or related fields with relevant training
Language Skills:
- Full professional proficiency in English

Position 3: Economic Recovery Specialist – Irrigation Engineer/Irrigation Agronomist
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Agronomy, Irrigation Agronomy/Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, General Agriculture, Plant Science, Crop Production, Animal Science, or related subjects
- Experience in research and community engagement
- Minimum of 3 years in the specified fields, including at least 2 years in an agriculture-based NGO or research institute in a similar environment
- Experience in project management, budget administration, and donor reporting
- Computer literacy (Office 360 and MS Outlook) and strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in the local language is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Irrigation Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, General Agriculture, Plant Science, Crop Production, Animal Science, or related fields
