Position 1: Junior Microbiologist
Required Qualifications:
- BSc degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (mandatory)
- No prior experience required
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Isolate and culture bacteria or microorganisms in specified media, controlling environmental factors such as moisture, temperature, aeration, and nutrition.
- Conduct microbiological tests on water, raw materials, ingredients, intermediate products, and final products to identify harmful microorganisms and determine sources of contamination or pollution.
- Analyze microorganisms’ physiological, morphological, and cultural traits using a microscope to classify and identify them in air, water, and raw materials.
- Oversee and ensure the proper functioning of water treatment plants for bottled water production.
- Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and final products to ensure they meet established standards.
- Calibrate microbiological testing equipment.
- Apply microbiology principles, methods, and techniques to develop effective control procedures.
- Record, analyze, and interpret microbiological data from tests and analyses.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
Duty Station: Furi Sub City Industrial Area
Position 2: Hygiene Operative – Night Shift
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Food Hygiene or Hygiene Officer certification
- Knowledge of food processing and safety regulations
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Previous experience in cleaning
- Good communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean the factory following documented procedures.
- Perform all visual checks in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately complete cleaning documentation.
- Follow cleaning schedules and instructions for all factory tasks.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, prioritizing safety on the production floor.
- Report any non-conformance, anomalies, or broken equipment.
- Maintain food safety standards at all times, following HACCP principles.
Duty Station: Furi Sub City Industrial Area
Position 3: Microbiologist
Required Qualifications:
- BSc degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (mandatory)
- At least 1 year of experience as a microbiologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute experimental protocols.
- Possess expertise in using electron microscopes, chemical samples, stains, and laboratory equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in microbiological techniques, equipment, and testing methods.
- Conduct microbiological analyses and interpret laboratory test results.
- Prepare research papers and technical reports.
- Apply analytical thinking, research skills, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Maintain strong IT and mathematical skills.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in microbiology.
