Position: Distribution Unit Leader

- Presently, we have an exciting opportunity for the role of Distribution Unit Leader, and we are seeking enthusiastic, capable, and qualified candidates ready to work with passion and focus.
- The primary responsibility of the Distribution Unit Leader is to lead, develop, advise, and support the successful implementation of the distribution strategy. This involves aiding in the execution of business plans to achieve strategic priorities for long-term growth opportunities, leveraging scale, and establishing fundamental processes, systems, and people capabilities.
- The Distribution Unit Leader will directly report to the Logistics Manager and oversee a team of supervisors.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop an efficient distribution strategy and business plan based on thorough research, analysis, insights, experience, and distribution principles.
- Create plans to enhance operations by aligning resources with activity levels and meeting customer service requirements to enhance overall distribution efficiency.
- Handle distribution planning and control, including order management, routing and scheduling, optimization of distribution resources, tracking, and inventory deployment planning.
- Manage the overall distribution budget and allocate funds according to the plan.
- Monitor the execution of distribution planning, rentals, and/or third-party logistics.
Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant logistics experience.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of logistics operations in FMCG organizations.
- Experience with logistics and business software systems (ERP).
