CARE Ethiopia Internship Opportunities for Fresh Graduates

We are currently offering internship opportunities for fresh graduates who are passionate about making a difference. The positions are designed to provide hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position 1: Intern – Project Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Food Security, Livelihoods, Gender Studies, or a related field.
  • Recent female graduates from the years 2023-2024.
  • No prior work experience required.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A commitment to gender equality and sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable groups.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with flexibility and adaptability in a multicultural setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a quick learner.

Monthly Stipend: $216

Position 2: Intern – Management Information Systems (MIS)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • No prior work experience required.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, multitask, and possess excellent analytical and statistical skills.
  • Strong writing skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with research, data management, and various data management software.
  • Commitment to gender equality and sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable groups.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment, meet deadlines, and quickly adapt to new situations.

Monthly Stipend: $216
