Position 1: Intern – Project Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Food Security, Livelihoods, Gender Studies, or a related field.
- Recent female graduates from the years 2023-2024.
- No prior work experience required.
Desired Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A commitment to gender equality and sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable groups.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, with flexibility and adaptability in a multicultural setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a quick learner.
Monthly Stipend: $216
Location: Dire Dawa
Position 2: Intern – Management Information Systems (MIS)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- No prior work experience required.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, multitask, and possess excellent analytical and statistical skills.
- Strong writing skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and ArcGIS.
- Experience with research, data management, and various data management software.
- Commitment to gender equality and sensitivity to the needs of vulnerable groups.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, meet deadlines, and quickly adapt to new situations.
Monthly Stipend: $216
