Armauer Hansen Institute Vacancy

Armauer Hansen Institute Vacancies

Established in 1970 through the collaboration of Norwegian and Swedish Save the Children organizations, with support from the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) derives its name from Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, the Norwegian physician credited with first describing the leprosy bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae).

AHRI underwent reorganization under Council of Minister’s Regulation No. 376/2016, transitioning into a biomedical research entity, specializing in clinical trials and research capacity building under the Federal Ministry of Health.
