Role 1: Re-advertised Senior Officer for Learning and Development

Purpose of the Job: To implement learning and development programs ensuring the continuous presence of highly competent staff equipped with specific competencies required to achieve the bank’s vision, mission, and strategic focus.

Generic Functions:

Undertake the responsibilities of the division manager in their absence.
Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, and budgets for the division.
Mentor and empower staff under their supervision to enhance their performance.
Demonstrate the bank’s code of conduct, embody its positive culture, and project a favorable corporate image.
Participate in teamwork, cooperate, and adopt transparent work methods.

Specific Functions:

Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank’s learning and development strategies/programs on organizational, functional, and employee levels.
Prepare and review annual training plans/budgets based on training needs assessment, career management programs, and succession plans.
Analyze needs, assess staff capacities, and recommend continuous training initiatives.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualification: BA in Management, Business Management, Public Administration, Development Management, or related fields.

Experience: Five years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry, with at least two years in an officer position.

Position 2: Senior Compliance Management Officer (Re-Advertised)

Job Objective: Ensure proactive and efficient management of compliance, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing, and adhering to various international and national regulatory standards.

Generic Functions:

Undertake the responsibilities of the division manager in their absence.
Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, and budgets for the division.
Mentor and empower staff under their supervision to enhance their performance.
Demonstrate the bank’s code of conduct, embody its positive culture, and project a favorable corporate image.
Participate in team efforts, foster collaboration, and embrace transparent work practices.
Provide services as per the service level agreement.
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the set targets.
Specific Functions:

Propose and contribute to the development and revision of compliance, AML/CFT, and KYC-related policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, and programs; and monitor their implementation.
Develop and implement compliance communication strategy and training programs on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing to promote compliance awareness and culture within the bank.
Conduct timely compliance risk assessments on selected branches and other units for proactive risk mitigation.
Prepare executive-level compliance risk assessment reports for the Board of Directors, Executive Management, and regulators.
Conduct analysis on new bank products and services to ensure compliance with laws and NBE directives.
Take on extra tasks as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field..

Experience: Five years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry, with at least two years in an officer position.

Position 3: Customer Service Executive-II

Purpose of the Job: To enhance customer satisfaction by handling front-line customer service activities with care and efficiency, and to improve the branch’s resource mobilization efforts through cross-selling the bank’s products and services.

Generic Functions:

Strengthen business relationships with customers and promote the bank’s positive image in the community.
Provide timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the branch’s performance.
Provide services as per the service level agreement.
Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the set targets.
Adhere to the bank’s internal control system and risk management program.
Specific Functions:
Administer the Primary Vault jointly with the Branch Operation Manager/Branch Manager.
Handle the receipt, verification, lodgment, and withdrawal of cash from the Primary and Secondary Vaults.
Manage the dispatch and receipt of cash consignments to/from the Treasury.
Verify daily cash receipts and ensure they are in order, wrapped, and initialed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.

Professional Background: Minimum of one year of experience in banking operations, specifically in roles such as CSO, CSR, CSE, or a related position.
Place of Work: Modjo, Balchi

Position 4: Senior Branch Operation Support Officer

Purpose of the Job: To facilitate and provide general support to regional offices/branches in their efforts for branch development and resource mobilization.

Generic Functions:

Undertake the responsibilities of the Division Manager in their absence.
Actively participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, and budgets for the division.
Mentor and empower staff under their supervision to enhance their performance.
Demonstrate the bank’s code of conduct, embody its positive culture, and project a favorable corporate image.
Specific Functions:

Provide the necessary facilitation and support for the smooth operation of branches/regions.
Develop, review, and monitor the proper implementation of branch operation procedures.
Compile branches’ inquiries for services from the Head Office and ensure they are addressed as necessary.
Qualification: Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, and Economics, or related fields.

Experience: Five years of relevant banking experience, of which two years are in an officer position.

Place of Work: South East District (Addis Ababa)

Position 5: Security Guard-I (Male)

Purpose of the Job: To support the bank’s operation by maintaining the security and safety of the organization and its personnel, ensuring secured customer services with a welcoming environment.

Specific Functions:

Prevent inventory losses by reporting missing items, inconsistencies, and damaged property.
Use radio or other communication devices clearly and concisely, if appropriate.
Prepare written reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
Monitor entrances and exits to prevent theft and ensure office security.
Qualification: 10th/12th Grade Complete.

Experience: Two years of relevant experience in Military/Police service.

Age: Between 25-50
