Position 1: Driver

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Additional certifications as required
  • Eligibility to work in Ethiopia
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a driver in international/multinational, public, or private sector organizations
  • Skills in minor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance
  • Knowledge of safe and efficient vehicle operation and maintenance
  • Demonstrated initiative, discretion, honesty, and good character
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in French or English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
  • Competence in Microsoft Word and Internet use

Responsibilities:

  • Offer dependable and secure driving services to the Deputy Director-General.
  • Execute office messenger tasks.

Position 2: Senior Program Officer

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in economics, politics, international relations, rural/development studies, law, management, or related disciplines.
  • Profound comprehension of political economy discussions in Africa and internationally.
  • Knowledgeable about the function of development finance institutions in socioeconomic reform and poverty alleviation.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing countries, preferably with regional, continental, or international development agencies
  • Understanding of regional integration and supranational organizations (experience with AU, African RECs is a plus)
  • Strong planning, organizational, negotiation, and team-building skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and translate strategic thinking into action
  • Leadership experience in complex, multinational, multicultural settings
  • Excellent communication skills in French or English, with knowledge of the other language
  • Proficiency in Bank standard software (Office suites, ERP, Collaboration Suites)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Lead Program Coordinator in various duties and responsibilities

Position 3: Finance and Administrative Officer

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Membership in a professional accounting body (CA, CPA, ACCA) is advantageous
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting or international financial organizations
  • Teamwork capability
  • Strong communication skills in English or French, with working knowledge of the other language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP S/R is beneficial

Position 4: Water & Sanitation Officer

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water and Sanitation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water security and sanitation programming, project management, and policy formulation
  • Strategic thinking and ability to synthesize complex sector issues
  • Knowledge of water security and sanitation reforms, public-private partnerships, and innovative financing mechanisms
  • Experience in project cycle activities related to water security and sanitation infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of technical and policy drivers in the water sector
  • Experience with international development finance institutions is preferred
  • Effective functioning in a multicultural environment and strong client orientation
  • Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus)
  • Competence in Bank standard software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); knowledge of SAP is desirable
