The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a prominent global humanitarian organization that delivers critical support to vulnerable communities in over 30 countries. Position 1: Child Protection Assistant
Educational Qualifications:
- BA or Diploma in Social Studies
Experience and Skills Required:
- For a Diploma holder: 2 years of relevant experience; for a BA holder: no experience required
- Basic to intermediate understanding of relevant procedures and systems
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills

Position 2: Livelihood Project Assistant
Educational Qualifications:
- BSc Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Economics, General Agriculture, or a related field
Experience Required:
- For BSc holders: no prior experience needed; for Diploma holders: 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with NGOs is advantageous
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in humanitarian response, particularly in livelihoods, food security, and agricultural development
- Strong written and oral communication skills, effective in external liaison
- Ability to handle data collection and use basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, internet)
- Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a multicultural setting
- Flexible, resilient under pressure, and possesses a good sense of humor
