Position 1: Partnership and Liaison Officer

Education Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with additional relevant work experience and/or training.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least five years of relevant experience in partnerships or high-level advocacy.
  • Experience with international organizations; familiarity with the African Union (AU) and prior AU advocacy experience is advantageous.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of the AU’s structure, processes, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and engagingly.
  • Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks under pressure, and delivering high-quality, timely work.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.

Position 2: Programme Policy Officer – Senior Economist

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with AU bodies, ECA, and AUDA-NEPAD to develop engagement plans and offer research and policy advice.
  • Assist the Director with research and policy development for the home-grown school feeding agenda.
  • Create models and tools to monitor progress on School Meals Coalition and Home Grown School Feeding programs.
  • Prepare accurate reports and contribute to regional and country reports on topics related to education, economic growth, and more.
  • Author papers for top refereed journals and support the development of the Biennial Report on School Feeding in Africa.
  • Provide support for technical briefs and participate in conferences and workshops.
