Position 1: Project Site Administrator

Job Summary: The Project Site Administrator is responsible for overseeing the human and material resources on-site, ensuring their availability for various project activities, and managing utilities such as electricity, water, and cleaning services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Project Site Administrator in the construction or real estate sector.
  • Honest, disciplined, self-motivated, and hardworking.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Fit Out (Finishing Works) Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve drawings and specifications in collaboration with the Design team.
  • Oversee and approve shop drawing submissions.
  • Track and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs) from trade contractors until resolution.
  • Conduct meetings to align design approvals and tasks with construction schedules.
  • Interface directly with trade contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor fit-out site progress, quality, and safety on a daily basis.
  • Supervise teams of carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, and low voltage technicians.
  • Coordinate all phases of fit-out work including shop drawing, execution, and installation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction, real estate, or fit-out sector.
  • Experience in managing commercial and office fit-out projects.
  • Proactive with a strong focus on achieving organizational goals.
  • Good understanding of project control regarding quality, cost, and time management.
  • Honest, disciplined, self-motivated, and hardworking.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software, and other engineering tools.
  • Ability to coordinate with various services and specialist trades.

Position 3: Fit Out (Finishing Works) Supervisor

Job Summary: The Fit Out Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all finishing works, including labor management, quality control, and coordination with clients and management.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all interior work including labor force, quality control, and client coordination.
  • Understand and manage drawings, material finishes, and construction material requirements.
  • Perform setting-out plans based on approved drawings.
  • Plan and manage materials and manpower.
  • Oversee installations including built-in cupboards, kitchen fit-outs, and more.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical and MEP works, including air conditioning, structured cabling, plumbing, and fire safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Fit Out Supervisor in the construction or real estate sector.
  • Experience in managing commercial and office fit-out projects.
  • Proactive with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
  • Good understanding of project control regarding quality, cost, and time management.

Position 4: Fit Out (Finishing Works) Division Head

Job Summary: The Fit Out Division Head oversees all fit-out activities, including labor management, quality control, and coordination with clients, contractors, and management.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all fit-out/finishing works activities.
  • Handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Organize subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Plan and manage materials and human resources.
  • Prepare work schedules, project supervision, and documentation.
  • Assist with tender documentation and pricing.
  • Implement best practices for cost control and manage the delivery team, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Ensure quality control, safety management, and adherence to OHS&E procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction or real estate sector.
  • Experience in managing interior fit-out projects, especially in commercial and office design and build.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software, and other engineering tools.
  • Good understanding of project control concerning quality and time management.
